Helping people create physical and emotional wellness in their lives has been my passion for my entire adult life. I can think of no more valuable pursuit than the journey toward greater health. I maintain an empowering, supportive, and research-based approach with my clients, and have delighted in their successes.

I hold a B.A. in psychology and an M.S. in counseling, with a specialization in family therapy. I am also currently working toward a Ph.D. in psychology, which has included coursework in stress management, positive psychology, life coaching, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and mind-body medicine.


As for experience, I've spent fifteen years helping people make healthy changes and reach important goals that they have for their lives. I've done this, at various times in my career, as a life coach as well as a counselor, a writer, a workshop leader, and as a consultant. I really enjoy the coaching relationship because it's positive, action-oriented, and often brings quick and profound results.

For several years, I've run the About.com website for stress management, which has involved researching and writing articles about all topics stress-related. I have also written the book 8 Keys to Stress Management, due out in 2013, and will be putting together workshops that complement the approach outlined in the book. I have a wealth of knowledge in stress management and healthy living, and can help you create the healthy, joyful outlook and lifestyle that fulfills your needs.
